How do you solve the dilemma of opening and preserving a bottle of wine?

For wine lovers and professional tasters, it's not easy to acquire a bottle of your favorite wine.

The better the wine, the more likely it is to go bad in a short time.

The better a wine is, the more likely it is to go bad in a short time, which can be a great pity when you can't finish it. The better the wine, the more likely it is to spoil in a short time.

The taste and elegance of the wine is lost, which means even more waste!

There are several common ways of storing wine in open bottles:

Recapping

Corking the bottle

This method is largely ineffective in retaining the taste and aroma of the wine.

Upright

Ensuring that the bottle is kept in an upright position minimum the exposure of oxygen to the wine, thus extending the shelf life of the wine.

The taste and aroma of the wine will change considerably by the second day, only prolonging the decay of the wine.

Dressing in small containers

Pouring unfinished wine into smaller containers reduces the exposure of the wine to air and extends the shelf life of the wine

It can be kept for 2-3 days. However, the containers often need to be cleaned and residues from cleaning agents

Use of evacuated corks

A vacuum pump is used to draw air out of the bottle, but as the pump usually only removes a third to two thirds of the air, it also removes the sulphur  dioxide used to protect the wine from oxidation.

This is also not suitable for the preservation of wine, as the vacuum pump usually removes only one-third to two-thirds of the air and at the same time removes the sulphur  dioxide used to protect the wine from oxidation.

It is also not suitable for the preservation of wine.

Storage in a wine cooler

A wine cooler is a small cellar, an electronic device capable of constant temperature, humidity, ventilation, shading and shock absorption.

Traditional wine cabinets have a large storage capacity and are generally used to store unopened bottles of wine, but are not effective in preserving open bottles of wine.

Refrigerator storage

Refrigerators can be used for short-term storage of opened bottles to keep them temporarily fresh. However, the interior of the fridge is dry, unventilated and

The constant temperature and the regular "shaking" of the refrigerator motor are not conducive to keeping open bottles of wine for long periods of time.

Therefore, most of the methods currently in use can only delay the shelf life of the wine, but do little to preserve the taste and aroma of the wine.

They can only be used for ordinary table wines for everyday consumption.
